I also am very happy with the outcome! Think he really has turned out to be the best fit for the band! :) .... and what a great rags to riches story ... from living in his car when he auditioned to this ... and I love the possible outcome with the runner-up as well .... all-in-all, quite happy about it.

I think they made a wise decision but I felt it was the safe decision.

I felt when it got down to the performances last night, the winner's (can we talk names yet people?) performances were the most consistent, expecially the performance with INXS - just my 2 cents

for your info they announced the winner on the news here tonight, and good luck to the guy but i'm not sure if this is going to work as a lot of people still have strong thoughts of michael

I'm happy mainly because he's a Canuck.

In my dreams. I was so stoked to see her walk out on stage last night... I almost let out a big WOOOHOOO!!, but the child was in bed. Well, that and the wife was right there and wouldn't understand. :p

A little bit. He was sounding a bit like Michael too... which is something that bugs me. He seems to put too much of other people into his performance and I see him being a 'Michael clone' of sorts. I think in the long run the bands needs someone that doesn't depend on acting like someone else, although he does seem to have good songwriting abilities. *shrugs*

Even though I was rooting for Marty, I am kinda glad that he didn't win. I think he would have been stifled by INXS. I believe he and the Lovehammers are going to be very popular and will have the ability to strike out on their own.

Apparently I'm having a 4 way ;)

Oh, and I kinda mentioned he had some fans at a certain website... and he could find them here. ;)
