Ya, that ice crap is cuddy to drive on. We had lake effect snow yesterday. It would be really pretty cause it's big fluffy snow but that ice is still under it. We gots 25F right now.Least the wind is gone.

They said high of 38 today, we beat it already, we gots 39. Suppose to be lake effect snow with rain mix.

The sun is deceiving today. It looked so nice I did'nt take a jacket with me. It's 37 and a bit of a chill in the air.

Too freaking warm for a white Christmas. As maddy stated in one of her other posts, we haven't seen snow here since last winter. It's rainy and in the low 50s today.

I've got my heat off and doors open ... it's a balmy 62 in southern New England this morning. Going for near 70 as a high today. I think someone forgot to inform the weather people that it's supposed to be winter in New England.

It was 75 degrees here yesterday. It's the first time I can remember that kind of temperature on my birthday--much less the fact it wasn't snowing. Today is bright and sunny but about 20 degrees cooler. Of course, who's going to complain about mid-50s in January in New Hampshire?

It's been warm and beautiful here too.... 70 yesterday.... 50 today and no ice chunks floating up & down the river!!!

35 degrees F here, with rain showers (that might turn to snow) expected. It won't stick if it does snow, it's been far too warm.

I find it amazing that we got more snow in October than we've had in November, December and now the first week of January.

32 degrees now, and we actually have some funny looking white stuff all over the yards, and mailboxes. Can someone refresh my memory as to what it is?

35F under cloudy skies with wind gusts of just over 20MPH. This is about as warm as it's going to get today although we'll get partial cleariing. I'm ready for spring. :)

That reminds me, did anyone else see yesterday on the science channel that over the last 100 years or so, the magnetic fields protecting earth from solar radiation have diminished by about 10%? :yikes: Hopefully that doesn't continue! The ol' world could be in a heap of hurt. :(
