DB- Father in Law. TaXXXman's father has brain cancer, not more than a year, and only 6 months tops of that will be "good."

I hope he either gets better or doesn't suffer long. Unfortunately, that's really all we can do.

Even more prayers now that I know. Prayers will be offered to ease his discomfort and that in whatever time he is given, it will be a time of peace. Prayers will be there for TaXXXman as well.

I've got to kill someone. Today the oncologist and then the neuro came in and both said they got path labs last night that said no cancer after all and maybe not even a tumor. OOps we are sorry we thought you were going to die. Now I am scared to believe anything they say.

I've got to apologize if I cause any unnecessary concern. So sorry.

Not your fault. We put a lot of trust in doctors and expect them to be right every time. Unfortunately, they are human as well and can make mistakes. I'd say that this is a better mistake than had it been reverse.

See DB, those prayers worked after all.

It's one layer of stress you didn't need, and you get to keep your FIL.

Hopefully. But something does not seem right so I think we had best get a second opinion. Oncologists don't usually tell you you are going to be dead in a year then say oops. Then again I suppose we'll know for sure in a year :p
