Five, with two being totally my fault.

dicksbro 08-22-2010 03:40 AM

Yep. Don't get to as often as I'd like, but I do enjoy it.

You try to keep your shoes polished.

jseal 08-22-2010 07:08 AM

Yes indeed!

You have a pair of hiking boots.

dicksbro 08-24-2010 12:37 AM

As a matter of fact, I do, although I tend to use walking shoes more than them.

You prefer ice cream in a cone rather than a cup.

jseal 08-31-2010 04:35 AM

Soft ice cream

You enjoy cooking.

dicksbro 08-31-2010 06:12 AM

I do, although I don't do it very often. My wife is much better at it (and so is my oldest son), and so I concentrate on enjoying their cooking.

If your a guy, you own a tuxedo; if your a gal, you own a formal dress.

whats your favorite meal?

dicksbro 01-19-2011 03:28 AM

In the winter I really love a good bowl of chilli and in the summer, I love bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches. Pizza is a favorite all year long. And, Bananas Foster is a sinfully deliciious dessert as is the German treat: Kaltur Hund or Cold Dog.

Of course, a good steak with all the fixings is hard to beat. :boink:

What's your favorite drink?

jseal 01-22-2011 05:04 PM

Beaujolais , but good coffee is a close second. :thumb:

dicksbro 01-30-2011 06:49 AM

Two cats. A small female named Jasmine and a huge (20+ pounds) male named Stud. (Our son named him  ) Wouldn't trade them, they're great cats.

Blue Moon Cafe

What time do you usually turn in for the night?

dicksbro 02-17-2011 05:32 AM

I suppose it'd be around 9 or 9:30 PM on most nights. Exceptions are when we go out to dinner with friends or get together for cards or something.

Do you dream a lot when you're sleeping?

jseal 02-26-2011 06:31 AM

Yes I do!

Have you taken an out of state/province trip within the last month?

dicksbro 03-05-2011 04:24 AM

Not in the past month, although we may be heading to Indianapolis within a month or so.

Have you flown on an airplane in the last year?

PantyFanatic 03-05-2011 02:31 PM

I've been on a few airplanes this past year but the plane did most of the flying. ;)

You prefer flying over driving more than 4 hours.

lafehubert 03-08-2011 01:05 AM

Driving unless it's more than a 2 day drive,

You need some lovin' from someone, Or they give you enough?

Pita 05-18-2011 07:11 PM

He gives me more than enough....but I'm a greedy girl!

You are not looking forward to the summer time heat.

PantyFanatic 05-18-2011 09:03 PM

You HAVE to be talking to me. While my comfort zone get narrower each year, I still rather have it dipping down than going up.

It has been a long time but you have ridden a railroad train.

Pita 05-19-2011 06:31 PM

I have never been on a train, but would love to one day.

You enjoy going to garage sales.

dicksbro 05-20-2011 03:01 AM

Not really my favorite pasttime, but I've gone with my wife.

You love to go on picnics.

Pita 05-20-2011 06:01 PM

I do in theory, but I don't like bugs....or sitting on the grass. :D

You like to eat at local restaurants and have something you have never tried.

dicksbro 05-21-2011 07:35 AM

That is true. I do enjoy going out to dinner and I enjoy trying things I haven't tried before. Sometimes, it doesn't work out, but often it does ... which gives me new choices I may not have thought of otherwise. :)

You try to keep your car washed and the interior clean.

jseal 06-04-2011 10:16 AM

True. It is much easier now that the children no longer need the car.

You are a Summertime person.

PantyFanatic 06-04-2011 08:59 PM

Not so much. :doorpeek:

You like the smell of fresh cut grass in the spring and remember the smell of burning leaves in the fall. :)

Fangtasia 06-04-2011 10:59 PM

False, fresh grass stinks and we arent allowed to burn off stuff in the back yard *L*

You did some yard work today?

dicksbro 06-05-2011 02:32 AM

Not yet ... since it's only 2:30AM ... but maybe later if it doesn't get as hot at it did yesterday.

You have a flower garden.

jseal 06-18-2011 07:09 AM

A very modest flower garden.

You live in a city.

dicksbro 06-27-2011 05:08 AM

While our town is about 17,000, it's still called a village. We're a suburb to Peoria about 10 miles away. Peoria's metro area is about 350,000.

You like skinny dipping.

dicksbro 07-02-2011 04:20 AM

I guess I'll answer my own question. Yep. Love skinny dipping although there aren't too many places to enjoy it. I loved the years we visited naturist resorts and could spend our days in the "all together" going from the chair to the pool to lunch without having to constantly get dressed and undressed again. :)

You're thinking of getting a new car.

jseal 07-03-2011 02:58 PM

Just purchased one: a RAV4.

Science is fascinating topic. Not this science, or that science, but the notion of what Science is.

PantyFanatic 07-03-2011 11:34 PM

Science is the only true pursuit of truth.

You will be happy when the heat of this holiday is over.

dicksbro 07-04-2011 05:13 AM

True ... although it always seems like summer passes faster after the 4th. A blink of the eye and kids are back in school; vacations end; watermelon go out of season ; and ... well, you know what I mean.

You're having problems with those pesty Japanese beetles.
