I did speak too soon. Went into Peoria where their prices had been less than ours. Now, they're at $2.64. :(

No doubt we'll be getting our "stimulus check" in the mail soon. I figure it ought to be at least a million or two although I'd prefer 10 or 20. :)

$2.69 seems to be about as good as it gets here. Seen it up to $2.79/gal.

That's what it is where I get gas.

When I was in the Netherlands it was €1.54/litre. That's about $7.52/gal. :eek:

My wife got her car filled for $2.63 in Peoria Tuesday. We're still at $2.69 at most of our local stations.

Went to a park near Kickapoo, IL (west of Peoria) and found gas at $2.59. :) Came down to $2.65 here, but I suspect it'll be back up today as they get ready for the weekend. :(

Gas is always cheaper in Lower Slobbovia.

It's dropped to $2.62 locally as of yesterday afternoon. Keeping my fingers crossed that it stays there for a while.

Even better. Got gasoline in E. Peoria yesterday for $2.57. Let's keep the trend going. See if we can't get below $2.50. :boink:
