Climbing ... especially hills or other natural terrain.

WMMTY? Sailboating or Motorboat rides?

Motorboat, because it's a lot easier to fish from a motorboat.

Familiar technology, or the newest, lates & greatest?

Tough to choose. Sometimes the familiar has been so good that it's hard to want it replaced ... and sometimes the greatest can make such terrific gains that it's really is almost always a case by case choice.

A
little early; you can always bring an e-reader, book, or crossword activity, and being late makes you look like a little shit.

Spreading the word about a loved activity, or leaving yourself more time to enjoy the activity?

Leaving yourself more time to enjoy the activity.

Warm in winter, although it's a narrow margin.
