Wait till the impact of the iranian threat to close the Straits of Homuz hits.
We jumped from around the 2.95 mark up to 3.13 in a day. Kind of sucks that it doesn't seem to want to stabilize.
It's been $3.359 for the past couple of weeks. No daily changes.
Even though I wish the price were lower, it's been nice not seeing the price jump up and down all the time. |
$3.46/gal yesterday
It's controlled bleeding, and bleed you they will. Last week it hung around $3.45/ga. during the week. Come the weekend, it blipped to $3.54/ga. The last 2 days of the month it suddenly fell back to $3.37/ga. as of last night. I won't be shocked to see a jump today when many checks are paid.

The most wrongly named thing ever would have to be the "free market".
Our local prices jumped from $3.35 yesterday to $3.49 today!
 |
There's an interesting article about the cost of the CAFE standards that will increase the fuel efficiency of our future automobiles.
The ol' "Figures don't lie ... liars figure" is as true today as ever.
After a week or more at $3.49 locally, it finally dropped to $3.39/gal yesterday. Still too high, but better.
Went to Decatur yesterday. Gas there was at $3.29. :(
$3.56!
$3.49 this morning
3.53 in the Murfreesboro, TN area.
This morning I paid $3.77 for regular. (Would have been $3.67 if I had paid with cash.)
Its running $3.22-$3.29 here
Mutter, mutter, wait till you hit Oz, or even worse Brit, prices.
Still $3.39 locally, but, a lot of people were topping off their tanks yesterday expecting a jump. :boink:
$3.69 for cheap stuff and $4.03 for good stuff. :(
$3.58 for the ceap stuff here. Seems to be the lowest prices in the state.
:( $3.87 was the cheapest in our fair town. Nearby towns were supposedly in the $3.75 range. Not many walks in the park this year.
"$2.2?/gal, $2.3?, $2.5?" :yikes: Almost worth the drive to fill up in your state.
It was $3.37/gal the week before Labor Day. Went to the expected $3.95 for the driving weekend. Gradually fell to $3.74 this week but suddenly jumped to $3.99 today. ................................ Because they CAN! :hair: |
It was still $3.87 locally, but down into the $3.70's in nearby towns. :(
$3.76/gal here yesterday.
Ours jumped up another 10 cents from last week to $3.79
Locally dropped to $3.82 at a couple of stations yesterday, but, it won't surprise me if they go back up for the weekend. :(
$3.77 today. I expect to see tomorrow take a jump by afternoon. Wednesday seems to be the "Hike it up for the Weekend" Day. :(
I think it's a shame it's not 1/2 that. Could and should be if our government would let us drill within the US and completed the pipeline from Canada. :( |
Quote:
Yeah DDB.... Obama sends $2 Billion to Brazil for their offshore drilling but prevents US offshore drilling... go figure! Is he trying to financially break us? It's between 3.99 - 4.04 here........... :( |
I am by no means a supporter, but it's not just his administration that has screwed this country up.
$3.64 here; it went up for Labor Day and hasn't come back down yet.
Bp
$A1.59.9 per litre. That's $US6.15 per gallon.

Jeezy creezy. I think there'd be full-on revolt here if ours was that high. |
That's the final price, without additional state, county, city block and justmadeitup taxes.
My pay is 11.00 per hour. I wouldn't be able to go to work if the gas prices were 6 per gallon here.
Quote:
Is it like here ... without the taxes, it's really only 29 cents. :yikes: JK |
Taxes make up over half the price.
Paid $4.04 yesterday
It was $3.67 here yesterday although surrounding towns had jumped up ... some at $3.72 and a few at $3.89. Can't believe we're local the "low-price leader" for the first time in a long time. :)
