Waking up sore yet again, when the weather has been nice for 2 days straight

Got to work and had to sweep up what at first I thought was cat litter, I still have no clue what it was...............then I found silly string all over one asile............then my cashier found a puddle of spray can cheese inbetween the boxed xmas trees.

I hate retail.

Not much for me, but apparently everything is pissing off my other half today...

I was in the checkout line at a local discount store (won't mention which one for fear of being banned :p) There was an elderly lady in the line directly in front of me and all she had in her cart was a 50 lb. bag of ice melt. I didn't think a lot of it but after I got my stuff paid for I noticed she was standing there with her walker and the cart right in front of the exit. A couple of employees looked at her and walked on by, one did wish her Happy Holidays. Nobody offered to help her. I couldn't f-ing believe it! :mad:

And yes, I did take her ice melt to her car and loaded it for her instead of finding the store manager and throwing a huge fit.

ugh iowaman..some big stores just don't get the meaning of customer service anymore.. :loveshowe for being who you are and a gentleman..

Well thanks, but I was just doing what anybody would do. I just hope she was able to get it out of her car and into her house when she got home. She said she'd have help with it there, hopefully it all went ok for her.

Having one of my employees just decide not to come in this morning. Sigh

Like a dumbass I wasn't paying close enough attention when I came back inside from shoveling the sidewalk and the stray kitty ran out the door. :banghead:

Oh well, at least I got to keep it inside out of the storm last night.

I overslept this morning and didn't get the garbage put out before the truck went by. :banghead:

The two boxes which I shipped USPS -- that I paid extra for to expedite so they would arrive by last Saturday -- finally arrived at their destinations today. :banghead:

Now I understand why the US Postal Service is losing money. Next time I will use FedEx - the shipping wasn't cheap - I paid $55 for 2 small boxes.

I've been working for the past couple of weeks on an annual project for a friend in and today I find out that some of the data he provided me was incorrect. It was the data we'd used last year but he 'renamed' his file and put the wrong damn year on it before he sent me the file. So now I've got to start from basically scratch and the product (a college football simulation game) will be a couple of days late for the people who want to use it. :banghead:
