I have a very simple method. I pick up the phone and say, "Hello." If there is any pause at all, I hang up. You gotta be quick if you call me!

Potato salad! That's my birthday meal, and I'm already looking forward to it.

What kind of cake do you like on your birthday?

Ahhhhh....that's the question of the day. My grandmother *always* made me a coconut cake for my birthday. I miss that tremendously. Last year, a friend out-of-state remembered me saying that and found a bakery near here that had a coconut *cream* cake and sent it to me. It wasn't the same--but I was still appreciative for the thought.
