That is awesome news! |
Thanks, Lilith. It's been 6 1/2 years since they first found the colon cancer and 3 1/2 since the little nodule on the lung (colon cancer that metastasized through the lymph nodes) was removed. Another year and a half and I can start donating blood again. :)

A powerball ticket

I've got a losing Powerball ticket. Oh well.

Excellent news indeed DB. I think criteria for blood donation must be very different where you are then, as I'm no longer allowed to donate because of the chemo I had. Apparently I wouldn't be allowed to even if it had only been radiotherapy I'd had. Go figure. DM |
Interesting. I've been told I have to be five continuous years free of cancer. I don't mind giving so I'll be anxious to get back to doing that. I'll have to ask about the chemo. Had that with the original colon cancer, but not with the lung.

Me, as well. |
Me, too. :( Gosh, maybe I shouldn't have put a bid in on that $26,482,975.00 house. :(

You can find something wrong in the inspection to get you out of it! ;) |
Just an idea, but you could say that because it's not filled with the lovely, talented, and ever horny Pixie women you refuse to buy.

That ought to do it! :roflmao And if they don't get it, it'd be a good chance to recruit new members. :) |
Goose bumps

I've got a morning visit with a new cardiologist (my former has located a new practice in another state. :( ).
|
Was he recommended by your previous cardiologist?
|
Yep. He sure was and from this meeting, he seems like he'll be terrific. He's a young doctor, but seems very sharp and it was obvious before he saw me that he had reviewed by "heart history" since 2002 when I had my bypass. I was impressed.
I think I got a good one! |
