More rain, rain, rain and now a flash flood watch is in effect.

jay-t 04-10-2008 09:32 PM

We had 4 to 6 inches of rain last nite ,then today winds 35 to 40mph with gusts to 50mph.The horses water trough was even white capping!

Windy all day today, made for an interesting highway trip out of town :yikes:

Now all that stuff that's been hammering you guys in the midwest is drawing a bead on the mid south tonight...

2 days ago south of us had a F1 tornado come thru.

It can keep raining as long as it don't snow, I already put my winter coat in the hall closet.

Yep, I can definitely relate. This afternoon I was out on the highway and needed to use my wipers after a semi passing the other direction sprayed me. I decided to use the washer fluid and the wind was blowing so damn hard that the fluid that should have hit the windshield in front of me landed on the passenger's side of the windshield instead.

59F under partly cloudy skies. Expected to reach 62F today with a small chance of some rain. Come Saturday, the high is only expected to be 39F with rain and snow. :(

Not to one-up you or anything, but I once had a gust of crosswind hit my van so hard that it lifted the wipers off the windshield AND simultaniously pushed the whole vehicle about a foot to one side...as close as I've ever come to shitting myself while driving...

Today's weather was quite scary, tornado warnings all over the midstate, & typically for a Friday, I was out in it. When I decided to call it a day & was heading home on the interstate (hoping to beat the worst of it), the rain came down so hard & fast wipers were of no use at all, visibilty was approximately my windshield + 1 ft.

37F with light rain. We're suppose to get some rain/snow mix today with a high of only 39F. What happened to spring? :(

osuche 04-12-2008 04:23 AM

Today it was about 80F and sunny, with a nice breeze. We also had the most gorgeous sunset - it looked like Sedona in the sky. :) I really wish I had my camera with me....was the most gorgeous thing I've seen in a very long time.

Scarecrow 04-12-2008 10:28 AM

38F and rain, what did happen to spring

IowaMan 04-12-2008 10:32 AM

Hey everybody, looks like there's going to be a party at osuche's house! :loveshowe

That oughta teach her to throw that beautiful weather in our poor, cold midwestern faces.

dicksbro 04-15-2008 06:31 AM

32F right now but expected to get up to 63F today and almost 70F tomorrow. Problem is that it's going to be very windy ... 20-35 mph over the two day with gusts over 40. :( Then rain on Thursday. :(

Oldfart 04-15-2008 07:03 AM

Yes, there's weather. It's still hot and sticky, but not quite as bad as just gone.
