Oh dear is this another show I didn't know anything about? I finally saw the commercials for the Brat Camp show this weekend.

No one they just showed scenes from the mansion.

JD...I didn't care for him at all at first but he's growing on me....like a fungus :p

I just don't see how they can possibly replace their deceased lead singer.

I think it would be horrible but they don't appear to necessarily want someone like him. They have quite a few ladies in the group. I think the band just still wants to play. I personally think a name change would be a good idea, something to reflect a new beginning yet still maintaining their roots.

Yep, and it's funny ... though I love music ... I've never thought of myself as a ROCKER .. I enjoy a lot of rock, but some of it is too hard for my personal taste, but I've really enjoyed this one .... don't know that I've picked a favorite yet .. still getting to know the different people, voices, personalities ...and Nicole ... I didn't hear a formal explanation about why Dave is there, but he made a comment on one of the episodes that he knew how it felt to be chosen to step in as the lead singer for a fully formed successful group ... I think the band members seem pretty mellow, maybe they just wanted someone for the show with a bit more "pop". :)

Tonight's show was just a 30 minute one ... kind of bridging between performances ... tomorrow night (after Big Brother) they will be doing another 60 minute one with the performances ... and I presume sometime later in the week another 30 minute elimination one (after the votes are counted from Tuesday night's performances). That's my guess anyway.

I think Dave is just one of the hosts but it is weird that he's there. He joined the Chili Peppers when they were already well established and had trouble with it. Like fzzy said, that might be why he's there.

I think they're all really good singers and I can't decide who my fave is.

I also can't remember the last time I didn't watch anything but crappy reality shows. :D

Maybe John was...but the interview I saw with Paul about oh ummm....30 or so years ago, he stated he was. LMAO....the is a book called "Paul is the Walrus". It was quite the Magical Mystery Tour back then lol.

Why am I thinking that INXS was based out of Oz originally? Hadn't watched the show until last night, on orders (sort of) from my guitar player...he seems to have been hooked, & wants to share the experience with everybody...I too, have been sorta creeped out by the idea that INXS would want to replace Michael, & more so by the fact that they would jump on the Idol bandwagon & do it on tv, with the world watching & voting...somehow I can't imagine the Doors doing that to replace Morrison...or would that be another sign of the apocalypse?

John was the Walrus originally, but in "Glass Onion" he said "the walrus was Paul"...later, he said that line was thrown in as a sop to Paul, as they were feuding constantly behind the scenes while pretending to the outside world that they weren't about to break up...

Jordis made me cry TWICE!!!!! She is soooo excellent. Not right for INXS but I think she should hook up with the house band.

I'm not so sure about her not being right for INXS - she's been damn impressive so far....

So far, I agree with all the departures....should be interesting as it goes along

Jordis is sooooooooo awesome! She can sing just about anything I think...

Marty is pretty good too - and MIG, well :D ....I dunno this is going to be really interesting. I have a feeling that those who aren't picked are going to be heard from in the future! :D

This is the one reality show I've loved. I'm liking Jordis and Mig... either way they'll be well represented. Ty is pretty good too but his style misses INXS's I think. They've all been good, JD's gotten on my nerves though. LOL

The one I want to tie up in the dungeon is Marty...freaky boy. I love his facial expressions. I think he'd be able to communicate with me, even with a ball gag between his lips.

I loooooved Mig tonight... I think Deanna's my fave, though I am a big fan of J.D. cuz he is from NS :D

Yes, I'm loving this series as well ... watch it on Sunday on VH1 (or is it MTV?) then Tuesday nights are the best ... and Wednesday night .... wish they could come up for a reason to show it on the other nights of the week as well :)

Mig is wonderful, Jordis is great as well .... funny thing, I really like JD .... if I had to deal with him in my real life ... don't think I'd like him nearly as well, but find him fascinating waiting to learn what he'll do next, etc.

I like JD but would hate to try to work in something as collaborative as a band with him. I was very glad to hear Mig make a comment when the band backhandedly praised JD.

Mig was great last night as was Jordis. Actually there were a lot of great performances, but I don't think JD was up to par last night.

Oh, and I loved what Dave said after Mig finished his song. I had a similar experience. :)
