It is now Boxing day for many of our Pixies :) and soon will be the 26th of December for all of us. I work with numbers and normally enjoy the information and usefulness I derive. :D A year ago I began a thread that involved no complex calculation, but just simple counting. Not me or anyone else expected the counting to continue as it has, or the results to be as devastating. :eek:

216 x 10^3 is a functional statement of a number. 216,000 dead people, in a matter of minutes is a concept that only the surviving members of the families can ever know. :(

I thought about that just a bit ago after seeing something on TV about how people in devestation coped during the holiday.....I then realized I've been crying about my holiday and I have too much to be thankful for and things COULD be soooo much worse.
