Infatuation
I see so many people mistake this for what they consider "love".
Love is more of a friendship, and being content with someone. when you want something and you can't have it, you want it even more, creating stronger more intense feelings. thats infatuation. but thats present in every relationship, because there is always one person in the relationship that digs the other person more than the other. so there is always one of the two who wants the other more and feels more in "love". so what is love then?? tv shows people in madly deep love like i need you always be here and they are both saying it. why do people get attached?? it just fills your life with something. and if the other person is going threw stuff, like still thinking about ex a lot and still have feelings for them, you become even more infatuated in that person because u know they don't just want you but their last spouse. and the feelings they show for the other person arouse feelings inside of you, and you get attached to these feelings that this person brings out in you, and thats when you think your in love. but its infatuation. Its all what you make out of it. I lost my train of thought, but yea whatever. :fish: |

i hate infatuation
it just tricks you and makes you feel bad. love makes you feel good. i'm still trying to get over a boy online that infatuated me for months. after a while you have to just ask yourself, what the hell am i doing? learn the hard way i guess... |
Infatuation recognised and dealt with as such can be the best fun.
Unrecognised it's the pits. |
Well said O/F... as usual!

Love can come after infatuation, when you're ready to make compromises.
|
i think compromises is love if it's with your best friend.
just a thought |
Infatuation is the thing of movies, of romance novels, of popular culture. It is the thing that leaves us breathless and foolish, and longing for more.
Love is the thing of time, of service. Love is proven through actions over time. It's what is proven when the honeymoon is over and life begins. But once you're sure love is there, it is the most wonderful thing in the world. |
