Democrats, including state party Chairman Bobby Kahn, criticized the move.
"The first thing he decided to do was close schools," Kahn said. "That shows something about his views on education and his priorities."

even though i am not really sided with the Dems or the GOPs, I have to agree with what that ^^^ guy said. as a wanna be Biology teacher, i am a bit upset that the schools were targeted first. should have been something like all the state politicians work from home day, or 2 without pay for the politicians.........but i doubt we will see that anytime soon.....imho
