Help me out here.
Not trying to pick  , but the ambient surface temperature in a micro-wave oven doesn’t change. It’s only the water molecules that are excited and they would all be inside the ant. I would expect any movement to be only from instinctual escape efforts:redghost:.
How was the “cold spots” on the griddle monitored? The thermal shifts would be so sudden, especial with such an un-concentrated heat source as a camp fire.
I guess I need to watch Ghost Busters again.
