Just this past Tuesday, when I had an off day, I went into an old XXX shop off of Times Square (they all still exist sporadically up and down 8th Avenue in Midtown) when I had some time to kill before a movie.

This one place had TONS of old Penthouse mags from 1968-1975, in neatly rowed stacks alongside a wall, plastic bagged for $3 each. I was contemplating buying a few as the erotica, photo and article content back then was COMPLETELY different from now...almost like buying a time capsule. They even had a few Playboys from that era. The thing was, when I see old mags in comic book shops and the like, the markup is around $20 or $30 each. Funny how a difference in venue and quantity changes the value of porn.
