I don't think of it an inappropriate. I think of it as making the most of an opportunity.

At work on a lazy Saturday overtime when not many co-workers are around.

Walking home from a friends house when I was younger. I cut through the woods behind some houses and found a spot where I could see activity but nobody could see me.

In my truck in a parking lot on the side of the road.

In my truck driving down the road/highway.

OMG...I'll be here all day trying to type all the places.

Suffice it to say I haven't done it in my front yard...YET!
