I went to a Tactile party once
Upstairs your standard party, not a lot of drinking going on. Most drank only a little or not at all.
Downstairs on the other hand...
All windows covered, Two big blankets covering the entry way, to ensure complete darkness...

Then you explore and have fun
everything is made to be soft and cushy
people are encouraged to wear touchy feely things... I.e. velvet leather, vinyl etc... interesting textures to touch and feel.
This was a Polyamoury get together so it was o.k. to touch and feel others around you. (if you were uncomfortable with someones touch or something, you were supposed to gently, politely take said hand off of your person) Respect of one another was the rule but this was a Poly gathering, and people were open to exploring boundaries.
It was something. People were doing what they wanted.
There was a lot of laughter, giggling talking, whispering, moaning, groaning, and I heard more than one loud Orgasm that night.
