The mystery is solved - I think. Putting one of our rubbish bins out this morning as I was going out with the dogs, I noticed lights on next door. A quick check showed the lovely Mandy in front of the mirror, hand down blouse, adjusting herself! Oooooohhhh ….

A thought occurred, and had me check the local bus timetables - it seems the bus she would normally have caught now gets to the stance 12 minutes earlier, hence why I have been 'missing' her; it was sheer luck this morning that I've realised!

Now have to wonder if getting up 15 minutes earlier is (a) possible and (b) worthwhile. Re (a) - the dogs do like their routine, and 05:55 does seem a LOT earlier than 06:10. Ho hum.
