All the "big" stores are too far for me to travel to. We have a Redners and Weis (grocery) store close by...but as soon as they open the Super Wal-Mart that they are building about a 2 miles from me...I'm sure the doors will close on Weis and Redners.

As I said before...we have to travel for miles to buy a damn pair of underwear. It sucks living in Bumfuck Egypt!

When Home Depot opened pretty close to us (about 15 miles), all the little mom and pop hardware stores folded. It's sad to see that happening...but it's "progress" I guess.

*sigh* I remember Publix and Winn Dixie from when we lived in the Keys! Here in Pa. a person can't get a bottle of wine (or any alcohol) in a grocery mart. We have State Stores (liquor) and Beer Distributors, and have to make a separate trip for alcohol.
