Alrighty folks. What's your favorite add. Can be from a magazine, newspaper, TV, anything. I was watching Disney's 101 Dalmations today (because I >>>LOVE<<< old disney movies ^.^) and i saw that "Kanine Krunchies" commercial they had in it. I LOVE THAT COMMERCIAL!

"kanine krunchies cant be beat, you get beefed by what you eat, kanine krunchies gives big beef, you get beefed if you eat kanine krunchies." (or something like that)

OMG! ^.^ and it's all done in this really high voice while lil puppies push words around on the screen. never gets old, i was walking around singing that all day. surprisingly in the same incredibly high voice done on the commercial O.o somehow..

Ok well I have a few cuz I am really easily influenced by advertisements!
There was an ad about '95 or '96 for Sprite or 7-Up where they were had a fake ad for "JOOKY" a bright pink soft drink and the first time I saw that ad I WANTED JOoky!! I still crave it sometimes.... (sigh)

I rarely have the tv on so the commercials I know are on the radio. And I must admit I take guilty pleasure in the Budweiser Real Men of Genius commercials. Used to be Real American Heroes

Announcer: Bud Light presents "Real American Heroes"

Back up singers: Real American Heroes

Announcer: Today we salute you, Mr. Outside the Stadium Peanut Seller

Back up singers: Mr. Outside the Stadium Peanut Seller

Announcer: You stand like a sentry outside the grounds of our national passtime, offering us your salty nuts...

Back up singers: Nice and crunchy

Announcer: "Half price on the outside, all the taste," that's your pitch...

Back up singers: Nuts for scratch

Announcer: There's nothing like spending a summer day on a hard bleacher seat crunching your nuts...

Back up singers: Crunch! Crunch! Oh!

Announcer: Unless it's sitting behind home plate spreading mustard on your weiner...

Back up singers: Hot n spicy!

Announcer: So crack open an ice cold bud light Mr. Outside the Stadium Peanut Seller, because thanks to you, a bag of peanuts costs only peanuts.

Back up singers: Mr. Outside the Stadium Peanut Seller

The one TV commercial that I stop and watch every move even though I know what’s going to happen, is from Michelin Tire. The entire thing is done without dialogue, but only with facial expressions and suttle eye shifts.

A guy has just set a Michelin Man bobble-head doll on his dash. He starts driving and you see just his eyes shift as he flashes a peek at the bobble-head that isn’t bobbling. He continues to drive more erratically and taking these hairpin curves at higher speeds with a progressive frustrated frown growing on his face.

Finally he screeches to a stop, grabs the doll off the dash and begins to shake it in both hands. You see his eyes shift once more to the driver stopped next to him that is a full size Michelin Man who is looking at him from the corner of his eyes. Michelin Man just rolls his eyes up and begins to shake his head in disgust with that barely detectable movement and the look of being caught with the hand in the cookie jar on the face of the frozen bobble-head abuser.

I chuckle at just writing this up.

The one that I enjoy starts like this...

Dad walks down the hallway with a newspaper under his arm towards the bathroom........

View shifts ~

A really cute little girl is standing outside of the bathroom door waiting her turn... her father opens the door and comes out w/newspaper in hand......she runs in and closes the door. Suddently she launches herself out of the bathroom with the colar of her shirt in front over her lower face covering her nose......

View~ Little girl is standing in front of her mom with the shirt over her nose. Mom smiles and gets out some sort of toilet bowl cleaner/deodorizer that you put on the lip of the toilet.

View ~ Mom and little girl in the bathroom, mom just put the cleaner/deodorizer on the lip of the toilet, the little girl smiles and flushes the toilet................... and takes a deep breath of what appears to be wonderfully fresh air.......

I don't know if this is Canadian but it's for a toilet tissue - a little boy sets up rolls of TP around the house and then feeds his little golden retriever pup. The little pup runs like mad for his food but starts sliding around as he is too awkward to negotiate turns. Of course, he slides into the TP so all is well.

A similar commercial has the boy placing TP rolls on either side of the car so when the pup slides back and forth, he's got cushioning.

More dogs in ads, I say!

I like the new Mountain Dew commercial with a take on the Roadruner show. Have only seen the full commercial in the theater.
