I also am very happy with the outcome! Think he really has turned out to be the best fit for the band! .... and what a great rags to riches story ... from living in his car when he auditioned to this ... and I love the possible outcome with the runner-up as well .... all-in-all, quite happy about it.

I think they made a wise decision but I felt it was the safe decision.

I felt when it got down to the performances last night, the winner's (can we talk names yet people?) performances were the most consistent, expecially the performance with INXS - just my 2 cents

A little bit. He was sounding a bit like Michael too... which is something that bugs me. He seems to put too much of other people into his performance and I see him being a 'Michael clone' of sorts. I think in the long run the bands needs someone that doesn't depend on acting like someone else, although he does seem to have good songwriting abilities. *shrugs*

Even though I was rooting for Marty, I am kinda glad that he didn't win. I think he would have been stifled by INXS. I believe he and the Lovehammers are going to be very popular and will have the ability to strike out on their own.
