np, here's how it went literally...
walked into doctor's office said I had appt. Doctor came in and says what can i do for you. I say back I wanna get screend for stds. She asks any symptoms? why do you want to get tested? Some other things along that line...I answer the few questions she had (I think maybe 5-7 questions).
So after description of my problem, she wants to have a look at my penis "black marks" to make sure. So unzip, and pull out my jr. and she says it's normal, I showed her all three spots. No problem she says, it looks perfectly normal, tests my lymphnoids I think it was (Groin muscle area) for any pains and than says ok were going to test you for chlymidia and hiv and that'll require us taking a sample of your blood for hiv purposes and for the other, we'll need a urine sample and also a swab of the tip of your penis head/urethra.
After taking the blood samples and swabing for chlymidia, she says just use a condom always, which i do anyways. And says the results should be back in a 2 weeks. I'm about 99.9% sure I don't have hiv but chlymidia is a silent std which sometimes doesn't show any symptoms, so thus the swabing around my penis head and urine sample.
Other than that there was nothing to it, I was in and I was out.
Personally I didn't feel embarassed or anything walking in there. I just said I want to get screened to be 100% sure, better to know than not to know and it just takes a lot of confidence to walk through that door initially but once your in there just be professional about it, so guys/gals if you need to get tested, just do it. It's so easy to get tested, no intimidation factor at all or slighted looks from staff members and etc.
