Well, not so sure it's a "family" vacation, but when I was 7-1/2 months pregnant with my first, my husband and I took a little over four days and headed out from southern California, through Zion National Park to the north rim of the Grand Canyon, around the huge thing to the south rim, then through Prescott, AZ and Needles back home. It was a whirlwind, crazy trip and, by the way, have you ever tried to find potties in the desert for a pregnant woman while praying she doesn't go into labor 100 miles from a hospital?
