People say I'm quite good at speaking in front of others, although I'm terrified of it and do much better in more intimate settings. If I feel prepared and confident, though, it's no problem at all.
What is the first thing you do (besides get out of bed) in the morning?

When I'm alone in the woods.
(DON'T touch that one Stepf) lol
How comfortable are you in large crowds that don’t have an individual mission?

Not very! Matter of fact.....I hate crowds of ANY kind for ANY reason....(being a tad claustrophobic).....and so going to a concert....or any event in a theatre spectrum (inside)......I get antsy and go to the potty alot (or outside if it's closer). Hubby has gotten used to this through the years.....but tis why we rarely go to a movie.....(and you thought he just hated dating me!...lol!)
When you go camping......do you hold "it" (you know what I mean) the entire trip.....or hang your ass over a log and let your freak flag fly (marking your territory...and scaring the deer away!)?
*OMG..how many nasty questions is a Pixie allowed in one day?*

True camping to me is much more than an overnighter. I guess there were more bears in Ohio when I was a kid, but I scared them all over to PA I think. Now that I’m old and spoiled, I even take paper with me most of the time.
Do you enjoy, or have you done, what is now referred to as Wilderness Camping?

Closest I got to wilderness camping was when I was a kids in Boy Scouts. I was in Japan and our American troop and a Japanese troop would go on joint camping trips usually just to open areas (not formal parks or anything). But, I'm not sure I'd call even that wilderness camping.
My wife and kids and I loved tent camping but it was all fairly tame in state or federal parks.
Have you ever owned or rented a motor home for a vacation?

No but it's a good idea. When I worked in the national park, I'd talk to visitors who had those beautiful Air Stream homes. They had matching cars they towed alongside, satellite TV, microwaves, washers and dryers!
What's your preferred type of vacation - cruise, hiking, staying home, etc.?

I like to go places I've not visited before, see both the touristy sites and those off the beaten path. We make it a point not to eat at chain restaurants when we go, and I love staying at mom-and-pop motels, too. You just seem to get more of the feel of an area that way. Thirty states down, twenty to go.
Do you like snow?

I do, except when the roads get slick and icy. The snow a week ago was an especially nice one.
Do you need to keep the temperature high or low in your house?

Well, I'm pretty warm-natured for the most part, so the heat is set fairly low. I freeze the rest of my family out.
Do you eat cereal for breakfast, and what type?

My daughter just started getting into cereal (she's 3)... I've rediscovered how great Lucky Charms are... Even just the cereal without the marshmallows! When I was running a lot, I was eating a lot of granola cereal for breakfast.
What is your favorite childhood memory?

What do you wish you could do that you can't?

I have a pair of black pants I'm in love with. Any top will do.
Can you think of one time when you were truly embarassed?
